How Does The Mtn Mobile Money Service Work?
To fully utilize the MTN mobile money service, you need to sign up first. Transfers of cash funds into MTN mobile money do not require a signature, but almost all other transactions require a mobile money subscription. You can register at any MTN mobile money agency or at the offices of the GTbank branches and MTN Walk-In centers.

Registration requires a SIM compatible with mobile money. If your SIM is not compatible with mobile money, you can buy one from the agent. The agent can also make a SIM change for you if you want to keep your old number. You will need to fill out some documentation to complete your MTN mobile money registration.

To fund your mobile money account, you need to buy and carry a mobile money scraper from MTN. Note that this is different from the normal recharge card for telecommunications services. Scratch cards are available at all mobile money agent sites, GTBank agencies and MTN centers. Mobile money transactions are protected by a 4-digit PIN. The PIN will be necessary to authorize all your transactions with mobile money. Then, you must / should keep it safe.

Once loaded with funds, you can use your MTN phone to pay for goods and services at support merchants, as well as buy MTN recharge cards for you and your loved ones. You can also use it to transfer funds to family and friends, whether or not MTN subscribers. You can also receive funds from other mobile money subscribers directly on your mobile phone.

If for some reason, you need money, you can withdraw funds (in cash) from your MTN mobile money portfolio from any mobile money agent. You can also use the Mobile Money debit card to withdraw your funds from ATMs.

There are three types of MTN mobile money account that offer different transaction limits and different registration requirements:

·       Mobile money without a bank of MTN: N3.000 max. / Transaction, daily limit of N30,000
·       MTN Semi-Implanted Mobile Money: N10,000 max/transaction, limit of N100,000 per day
·       MTN fully banking mobile money: N100,000 max. / Transaction, N1,000,000 daily limit
Non-bank mobile money is the easiest to join, requires minimal documentation and does not require a bank account. The semi-paid money will require similar documentation to the opening of a savings account, while fully banked mobile money will require documentation similar to the opening of a current account.

The mobile money service is resident incompatible MTN SIMs so that it can be accessed from all types of cell phones.

Online Banking: Advantages and Disadvantages

Online Banking: Advantages and Disadvantages
With the growing popularity of the Internet, more and more industries are looking for ways to exploit this popular media in order to keep pace with changing customer preferences. These days, you can do anything online from the grocery store to call a friend in Tokyo free via your PC. The possibilities of the Internet are seemingly endless and the banking sector has decided that it would not be left behind. While most people have heard of online banking, most have probably not tried it yet. Perhaps because we find more comfort in working with real people and real paper when it comes to money, rather than trading in the seemingly impersonal world of the World Wide Web. Be that as it may, there are advantages and disadvantages to online banking. This article will describe these advantages and disadvantages so that you can feel justified in your fear or look at online banking as a sure way to manage your finances quickly and efficiently.

Let's start with the benefits of online banking.

First, online banking is convenient. It allows you to make transactions, pay bills and check balances 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The bank almost never closes because it is as accessible as your PC or laptop. No matter where you are in the country or in the world, you can visit your online bank and manage the money. You can even plan to pay more payers in advance, instead of tracking bills or trying to remember when to visit the payee's website to make a payment online. Your bank automatically sends payments on behalf of you in the amounts and dates you specify.

Second, the web bank is fast, efficient and effective. Thanks to the Internet, transactions are usually made and executed at a faster rate than ATMs. In addition, online banking allows you to manage multiple bank accounts (checks, savings, CDs, IRAs, etc.) from a website. Most banking zones are also compatible with programs such as Quicken and Microsoft Money, to enable more efficient asset management.

Just like anything else, there are disadvantages to online banking.

The main problem for most is that it is trust. They may wonder if their transaction has passed or if they clicked the right button. The best way to overcome this turmoil is to get into the habit of printing the receipt of the transaction. Keep this receipt on your bank statement or account on your Internet account to confirm that you have made the transaction.

Online banking can also take a long time to start and can be difficult to learn first. Some banks require that customers provide some form of image identification in addition to writing a form on one of their branches. Spouses may also have to sign a Power of Attorney if you plan to access and manage your accounts online. In addition to all this, it may take a while to learn how to use your bank side. Most if not all banks will offer online banking. Some even offer online assistance via chat, email or phone.

It is clear that online banking has both advantages and disadvantages. It makes life easier for some people, and for them, it's honestly a better way for the bank. For others, it can be a little more complicated and simply scary. In light of these two perceptions, more and more banks are offering online banking as a viable alternative for their customers.

Before you are the only one I use this service to buy airtime. I never used the Internet to transfer money, but it's all changed last week. Here's my story.

I have 2 bank accounts in Nigeria. And with GTBank and the second is that of the UBA. Gtbank is my main account and to ensure that all transactions while UBA backup account, and I hardly use it for something.

Last week on Monday, had a problem with my ATM card GTBank and could raise money with her. He took my problem to the Bank, is seeking a new ATM card, and they told me that it will be ready within 10 working days.
Was very low on cash and desperately needs to opt out of the use of the debit card, I decided to transfer money from my account on GTBank UBA. Used 737 GTBank airport for the first time and boy! It was fast and efficient. Here's how I made the transaction without leaving your home/via the Internet.

Gtbank mobile transfer-how to send money with the Internet (# 737)
Before you continue, make sure that the phone number that you want to use the same with one of the GTBank is a database. The phone number must be the same. It's the only way you can use this service.
On your mobile phone, dial * # 737. Look at the list of services on offer. For the transfer of funds in the text area provided, enter 4 and click send

Gtbank 737

Further, and ask if you want to transfer funds to other users/GTBankbank users.

You will need to enter the number of the person you want to transfer the money to the

Then select the recipient of the Bank

Enter the last 5 or 4 digits on the ATM card for confirmation of transactions

Successful transactions!

I have a message on credit account UBA, less than 2 minutes after the start of the transmission.
That's all. Make sure that the wait for a charge of warning, making GTBank your transaction was very successful. As you can see above, he could end up a transaction without the use of an ATM PIN or chips.
The only thing I don't like about the 737 GTBank transactions is free.Gtbank charges you # 105 for successful transactions.
So it is all about transferring money with this service. I hope it's useful.
