Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 edge and S6 active receiving Android 7.0 Nougat update at AT&T

Shortly after the Galaxy Note 5 upgrade and Galaxy S6 + edge for Android 7.0 nougat, AT & T announced that three other Samsung smartphones are eligible for the highly anticipated update.

If you have AT & T Galaxy S6, S6 edge Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 active, then you should check Android Nougat 7.0, as the carrier has confirmed the implementation has begun.

Keep in mind that the update weighs around 1.3GB for each of the three smartphones, so make sure you have enough space before you try to download and install the Android 7.0 nougat.

Fortunately, AT & T has released three change logs for the updates, which look similar. In fact, in addition to the size and number of firmware, the updates are the same for the three variants of Galaxy S6.

The update brings the Samsung Cloud and Samsung Pass, as well as other fixes and enhancements. In addition, the AT & T Address Book applications and MobiTV have been removed. As for the security update, the operator confirms that the Android 7.0 update also includes the Nougat security patch for April as well.

It is noteworthy that the update is delivered over the air so it may take up to a week to reach all eligible devices. If it does not appear on the phone right away, you should check it again tomorrow.
