Samsung Galaxy A30 Price in Nigeria

How Much Is Samsung Galaxy A30? Samsung Galaxy A30 Price and Specs Review

Samsung Galaxy A30 is a mid-range member of Samsung’s 2019 A series. It offers you more options if you think the Galaxy A20 is a little behind your needs. The Galaxy A30 offers a premium screen, a more powerful processor, and better cameras. The A30 uses Samsung’s new Exynos 7904 processor that we first saw in the Galaxy M20.

Even for everyday use, the A30 is a skilled performer. If you try to record it with multiple background apps you will see some sluggishness. While this may not be a deal-breaker on an Rs13k Galaxy M20, it is an issue on a Rs 17k phone like this one.

An Rs14k Redmi Note 7 Pro with Snapdragon 675 will beat the Exynos 7904 solidly in terms of absolute performance. Luckily the battery life is great – we regularly have a full day of battery life with about 20-25% reserve. If you use the phone with the battery saver switched on, it will easily last for a day and a half.

  • Non-removable 4000 mAh Li-Po battery

A30 Design and Display Review

There are several things we liked about the Galaxy A30. It has a sleek design with curved edges, which makes it comfortable to hold. The glossy finish looks premium, the fingerprint scanner is fast, and the face unlock is better than M-series phones.

What we didn’t like was that the glossy plastic back panel absorbs smudges/scratches very quickly; has multiple scratches in a week of careful use.

Samsung Galaxy A30 comes in a plastic case, just like the Galaxy A10 and Galaxy A20. Color options include blue, black, and red.

It features an Infinity-U display with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 front. The fingerprint sensor is located on the back.

Samsung Galaxy A30 has a beautiful 6.4-inch Super AMOLED infinity-U display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The 19.5: 9 aspect ratio and slim design create a compact design that fits comfortably in your hand.

Galaxy A30 Battery

Samsung Galaxy A30 offers the same battery capacity as the A20. The 4000 Li-Po battery should have reasonable battery life for watching movies and surfing the web.

It also offers fast charging that supports up to 15W.

Add this to the fact that the smartphone offers a brilliant display and this could be a perfect match.

Samsung A30 Camera review

In the camera department, the A30 has a dual rear camera with a 16MP f1.7 primary sensor and a 5MP ultra-wide secondary sensor.

It’s nice to have that ultra-wide-angle lens, especially in the sub-Rs20k segment, as it offers more shooting options. The image quality of the A30’s camera is excellent – photos in daylight have excellent detail and natural colors.

In low light, the photos were well-exposed thanks to the large aperture, but on closer inspection, you see that the detail is missing.

Live focus mode for portraits also works better in daylight – a fair amount of bokeh, but edge detection isn’t the best we’ve seen.

The rear camera video recording quality is good, but it is limited to Full HD resolution and has no electronic image stabilization.

Samsung Hardware And Software

Unlike the more affordable Galaxy A10 and Galaxy A20 with Exynos 7884, the Samsung Galaxy A30 gets an upgrade with a more powerful Exynos 7904 chipset.

The chipset has a dual-cluster architecture with a dual-core processor and a Hexa-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz and 1.6 GHz respectively.

The smartphone offers a 32 GB variant that comes with 3 GB RAM and a 64 GB variant with 4 GB RAM. Both variants support a dedicated microSD card slot with support for memory cards up to 512 GB.

Samsung Galaxy A30 runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with Samsung’s One UI on top.

Connectivity

Samsung Galaxy A30 has a single SIM and dual SIM with support for nano-SIM cards. The phone supports 4G LTE. In Nigeria, the phone supports LTE on MTN, Airtel, and 9Mobile.

The Galaxy phone has USB Type-C (USB 2.0), Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and a 3.5mm audio jack.
